Nashville, Indiana
Friday
- Monday, April 23 - 26, 2004
Referred to as the "Little Smoky
Mountains," Brown County lies about 40 miles south of Indianapolis.
This is wildflower time, a time to celebrate the coming of spring.
There are over 12 miles of trails in the park to explore. A short
distance away is the T.C. Steele Historic Site and a portion of
the Hoosier National Forest, known as the Charles C. Deam Wilderness
with some of the most scenic, hilly and forested areas that Indiana
has to offer. Choose a long or short hike.
We will be a short distance from Nashville, an arts
and crafts center formed, of necessity, by people isolated by
the hills in earlier times. Galleries, shops and historical sights
delight all, plus a "Li'l Opry" for country music fans.
Our tour closes with a visit to Columbus for a "change of
pace" architectural walk.
