Gills Rock, WisconsinFriday - Monday, May 14 - 17, 2004

Door County is known as the “Cape Cod of the Midwest”. It is a peninsula stretching north between Green Bay and Lake Michigan. This weekend the ten lighthouses that have guarded the islands and harbors of Door County will be open for their once-a-year visit. We have many places to walk, from isolated Rock Island, with it’s recently restored lighthouse to beautiful Peninsula State Park, home of Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, on Green Bay’s shore, each with its own appeal.

We will stay at the Shoreline Resort at Gill's Rock, the northernmost tip of the peninsula. All rooms are close to the shoreline, where the spectacular water view extends to the hoizon, providing beautiful sunsets.
