"The Cape Cod of the Midwest"
Door County is a peninsula
stretching north between Green Bay and Lake Michigan, and has
resisted the invasion of franchises. This weekend has something
for everyone from the most diligent of hikers to those who like
to browse through art galleries and antique shops. There are many
places to walk, from isolated Rock Island, to beautiful Peninsula
State Park on the Green Bay's shore of Green Bay, each with its
own appeal.
We stay in Sister Bay, surrounded by trees and flowers,
complete with indoor pool and whirlpool. You will feel like you
are away from it all while being very close to the charm of downtown
Sister Bay.
