(For children
of all walking ages.)
Rock River Valley, Oregon, Illinois
Friday
- Sunday, May 7 - 9, 2004
Join us for this fun-filled weekend
of hiking and playing. This valley has a wealth of state parks:
White Pines Forest, Castle Rock, Lowden and Franklin Creek. We'll
visit them all. Each location offers a unique experience and view
of this area, known as Black Hawk country.
We breakfast at an excellent restaurant in the lodge
and have Friday night dinner there. Saturday night we go out for
a pizza party before returning to build a bonfire. We have one
trail lunch on a hill overlooking the Rock River and another by
a creek.
We feel this area is ideal for this tour because
both the housing and terrain are suited to all ages. We welcome
parents, and also think it is a great tour for grandparents, aunts
and uncles or good friends to bring youngsters of their choice.
Tour fee includes lodging, all meals
and planned hiking and activities. Tour Fee: First adult in room,
$365; 2nd adult in room, $190; 3rd adult in room, $160 - 3rd adult
in room. For each child 12 and under, $85. Note: Children over
12 are considered adult. Tour Deposit: $150 per adult, $25 per
child. Reservation Deadline: April 4th, at which time the full
fee is due.
Note: Reservations for this tour limited
to adults with children until March 22nd, after which it is open
to all. (No children without accompanying adults.)
